Testimonials

We thoroughly enjoyed it

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you & your team for our Wedding on Saturday night! We thoroughly enjoyed it, it was a really good evening and you’re an absolute pleasure thank you!

We were treated like royalty from start to finish

My husband and I had our wedding at this hotel on the 4^th July 2026. The day was amazing, my heartfelt thanks to Lisa who helped create our special day from start to finish, helped with our guest who wanted to stay, put up with the last minute changes. The rooms were lovely, the bridal suite absolutely stunning. The food was out of this world, not just our wedding food but the breakfasts and the restaurant too… The staff were the most amazing people I have met, nothing was too much for them, myself, my husband, our families and our guests were treated like royalty. Thank you again to everyone who helped make our day unforgettable.

A perfect wedding day at The Cumberland

We had our beautiful wedding day at The Cumberland hotel on 04 October which went to absolute clockwork thanks to their awesome wedding coordinator, Edward. From choosing the hotel at a wedding fair we knew immediately that this was the place to hold our special day. The venue is stunning and provides such a beautiful setting for a special day. We were so impressed with our wedding coordinator Edward who was so professional, engaged and calming throughout the whole process. He worked tirelessly to ensure the day went to plan providing a seamless service with genuine care and thought. He was a dream to work with!!! We had a lot of family staying at the hotel who loved the hotel and rooms. On the wedding day the staff were amazing ensuring every need was attended too. We used the same room for the ceremony, the wedding breakfast and the evening reception but upon each room change the room looked completely different which was amazing. We were so happy with how smoothly the day went. The food was absolutely amazing with impeccable service throughout. All guests commented on the quality of the food. We were also very lucky and managed to get photos by the beautiful pool. If you are considering the Cumberland for your wedding we highly recommend the venue.

It was absolutely perfect and the venue looked amazing

We recently had our wedding here and it was such a easy experience. All the staff were great and so attentive! The venue is fabulous and I can't wait to stay there again. I just wanted to thank you and your team for everything you did at the weekend. It was absolutely perfect and the venue looked amazing! Everything went so so well. Everyone complimented on the food and how great the staff were.

Our perfect wedding day

Wow what can I say, from attending the wedding fayre to having our perfect day The Cumberland went above and beyond to make our day exactly how we wanted and more. Lisa went out of her way to accommodate us and no question was a silly question. The bridal suite was beautiful, spacious and the most amazing view of Bournemouth beach and isle of wight. We stayed at the hotel until the following afternoon and used the pool and had some lunch, perfect setting to unwind after our special day.
