Fantastic hotel....really enjoyed our stay
Myself and my colleague stayed at the Cumberland for two days at the start of November 08. The hotel was in a great location and both our rooms overlooked the sea.
The main attraction of the Cumberland is its public areas which are done in an art deco style. They really are fantastic and have been decorated to a really high standard. There is lots of different spaces to chill out in, all decorated slightly differently and will appeal to people of all ages.
All in all I would definately recommend this hotel to other travellers, both young and old and for business or leisure.

Just to let you know we all had a great time on saturday, the service, food and atmosphere was excellent so please let me have details for next year when available, and pass on our thanks to everyone involved.
Also my husband belongs to a Golf Society and they would be interested in taking over the Oceana room (as it is smaller) for a dinner and presentation with a disco early December if I could have details for that one as well when you have it.

Our magical wedding at the Cumberland Hotel
After holding our wedding breakfast and evening reception my husband and i can not speak highly enough of the service our guests and ourselves recieved. Being a very special day, the Cumberland Hotel catered for everything with their efficent service and friendly staff. Not only is the hotel beatifully decorated in Art Deco in its appearance but it also offers a top quality menu without being to expensive. The wedding Coordinator and her team consider everything to eusure you have the day of your dreams. We plan to have a weekend at the Cumberland close to our anniversary as we love the hotel so much. Thankyou to all the staff at this amazing hotel for making our wedding a magical day and we will see you next year and will still pop in for the occasional coffee by the fire.

The best in Bournemouth by far
What a fantastic hotel, never seen anything like it in Bournemouth, I travel here for business often, its got the lot. The standard room was fine, very clean, staff amazingly friendly; free Wi-Fi in the bar, great pool and right on the sea front. The best thing for me was the trendy atmosphere, great music, funky decor and lots of style. I would highly recommend. As for the moans about the rooms, the standard rooms are fine, but the refurbed are super, you get what you pay for. When all rooms are complete this place will be wow, not really for old people though.?Well done guys. Oh and by the way, I took an afternoon on the chill beds, was provided with free bath sheets and it was great.

Nice hotel
We wanted a nite away in Bournemouth and walking distance to town and on East Cliffe. This was an ideal hotel. We were met by courteous staff who checked us in and allow me to park the car although our room wasnt ready as we arrived prior to the 2pm checkin. Very smart Art Deco interior and nicely situated overlooking the sea. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of it even though we went down 15 mins before breakfast finished.
